Josie goes from unaware of her looks to completely self-absorbed and complimenting herself in everything she wears. I believe the author has a lot of potential, but needs a good editor and peer reviewers in her corner. This book was a bit dumb, and not in a good way like the first one! She doesn’t actually sit down and interview her subject, they just canter around the nightclubs and indulge in terrifying sports, thereby making the tabloids happy.
Then somehow Jake and Jennifer knew who she was working for. The Billionaire Brothers Kent. Pretty good sequel Josie continues to entertain as she travels overseas to ghost-write an autobiography, but she foolishly wastes most of her allotted time. This is a great follow up to the first book and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series! Not as cute as the first one – won’t read the final in the series. This is a classic example of a second book in a series that is considerably worse than the first one. It’s not like you haven’t been burned in the past where someone sold private details about you to the press or anything.
Chi ama i libri sceglie Kobo e inMondadori. Will definitely be reading the final installment for, hopefully, more detail on Jake and Josie getting married. Not to mention she has never written a biography, but how hard could it really be? While I think royalty was portrayed very wrong, but I didn’t really expect anything anyway.
I still feel like it only scratches the surface on things that could of been a lot more in depth.

They are Prince Charles and his two sons. After Josie’s mishap with her Disaster Diary being outed, he’s made it a point to tell Josie that he didn’t care that it was released. Her ‘poor me’ attitude and seeming disregard for Jake grated on me this time I must admit- I liked the first one much more. I did not like how Josie would let two months go by and not put her foot down about not being able to get the information she needed to write the book.

I hate to say it but I was really disappointed in this book. Anyway, I’ll probably still read the third one in hopes that it’s as good as the first.

And now that I know mom’s gonna play a prominent role in the next book, I don’t care anymore for the heroine, and I’ve got zero interest in Jake at this point, I think I’m done. Oh Josie, you’re so funny, here let me spit my water out of my mouth as you regale me with your tales of embarrassment, that really aren’t even that embarrassing.
Anyway, still a hoot to read, even if some parts were dragging and other parts were rushed. You JUST met and became friends with her. Pages and pages of ‘radio silence’ and then a whirl wind of summing up what happened during that time, instead of writing it Ok, I will just confess, I didn’t like this book.

I will not be buying the 3rd book.
